About us Meet the Team Siobhan Keem Administrator - Finance and Supported Employment What do you love about working with bemix? Working for bemix really is like being part of a family. Everyone supports each other and strives for the same goal of ensuring everyone is treated equally. How long have you been involved with bemix? I have worked for bemix since March 2019. What is your role in bemix? I am the Supported Internship and Finance administrator and a member of the admin team. Within the Supported Internship team, I oversee the bursary and free school meal payments for the young people and apply for additional funding to help when financial difficulties are preventing young people engaging in the programme. One of my main areas of work in the programme is applying for work coach funding when our young people are in a placement. This pays for the support and training they receive from their work coach. In my finance role, I am responsible for processing the payroll and expenses, and making sure everyone is paid what they are owed! I also help with the administration of the Care and Treatment Review programme. What did you do before you joined bemix? I worked as a pensions administrator after I finished university, where I studied biochemistry. What do you enjoy doing when you're not working? Anything outdoors! Nature is a great love of mine and there is nothing better than going for long walks.
