The Pulse Events Venue

The Pulse is an eco friendly and ethically run social enterprise in Sittingbourne. The Pulse is home to a number of our groups and projects as well as providing a venue for several community groups in the evenings.

bemix (formerly Skillnet Group) developed The Pulse as a vegetarian, eco cafe and after a few years of providing seasonal, responsibly sourced food for the whole community, developed into a bright, airy and versatile venue for workshops, training, meetings and events.

The Pulse is now home to a number of groups and projects supporting people with learning difficulties and aiming to achieve equality within the local community. We also have a number of regular evening bookings which bring in income to bemix. Managing new and one-off hire bookings is not cost effective for us at the moment (as of October 2018) so we have decided not to take on any new hire for now. If we can open this up again in the future, we will let you know!
