bemix Supported Employment programme provides a free job-matching service to help employers recruit and retain people with learning difficulties and or autism. In October 2021, bemix intern Summer was job matched to the Sales and Marketing Administrator role at InXpress.

Initially, Summer joined InExpress for a taster day at the organisation. After impressing franchise owner, Julian, with her hard work, organisational skills and IT skills, it was agreed to proceed with the placement. Since then, Summer has been working steadily and increasing her hours gradually. She has also been supported to take on more responsibilities such as market research projects, to assist the business owner in growing the business.
