What a brilliant day filled with fun, music, poetry and more!

The wonderful event was expertly organised by Sam Carter, our Project Lead for Amplified, Music Industry Skills group, based in Canterbury.  With Lis Clayson, our Project Lead of Be Seen Be Heard, Audiobox, and Be Creative Groups, who travelled up with some group members, from Dover to contribute and support the day.

bemix tries very hard to co-produce all its work, and this event was a perfect example of collaboration in action. Group members played an active role in the day, from organising the space to performing their own original work.

   

Dover Group members also took centre stage at St James Church, delivering presentations and performances that showcased the incredible creative work they've been developing. The Groups proudly displayed some of the wonderful pieces that are for sale in our shop in Dover.

Mark was so impressed by the "belong" model that he purchased it there, and then "A beautiful work of art - That will sit proudly in my living room!"

The response from participants was overwhelmingly positive. "It was fantastic" said Jason, while Tom added that "it went down a treat."

Carmen reflected on the venue's success, saying, "It was brilliant and we hope to do more events at the church."

One attendee summed up the day perfectly: "A wonderful event full of talented and lovely people, thank you. When is the next one?"
