Be Seen Be Heard in Sittingbourne recently took on a new creative challenge — and this time, it was all about comedy.

To mark World Laughter Day, the group decided to do something a bit different. Project members decided to create a comedy sketch film titled "A Production Mishap". The film is based on the idea of everything going wrong on a film or TV set. The result is full of fun, laughter, and creativity!

As with all Be Seen Be Heard projects, the group co-produced the film from start to finish. Everyone took part in writing sketches, developing the storyline, and working together as a team. Some scenes were planned and rehearsed, while others were improvised on the day of filming, adding to the humour of the piece.

The group also collaborated with young people from bemix Supported Employment. Supported Employment students worked behind the scenes, gaining hands-on experience in production setup — including preparing the room, adjusting the camera, and setting up the tripod. Adam, a current student in Supported Employment, also played a role in the project as the voice of a concerned cameraman.

The final film showed the energy and enjoyment of everyone involved. People learned and used a wide range of skills — from scriptwriting and acting to technical filming and editing.
