The team at the Eco Shed are a creative bunch and are always up for trying new ideas.  This year, they have planned, performed and filmed their first Christmas movie.

As expected, this has been a project fuelled by team spirit, with all members of the Eco Shed getting involved and sharing ideas for the script.

The stars of the show were a colourful pair of puppets - a green crocodile made from pallet wood, by Stewart and Elaine, and a friendlier-looking Santa, which Terry made from sticks and polystyrene.

Even the backdrops for the production were handmade by the group using cardboard and paint.  

Special thanks to Tom from the Animation group, who offered everyone tips on how to film the movie and made the final edits once filming had finished.

This was the first project of its kind that any members of the Eco Shed had tried before, but their ambition clearly paid off. 

One group member said, 

“It's exciting trying something new, especially as we are all doing this together.”

Eco Shed Lead, Cheryl, reflected, 

“At first it seemed impossible, but as we went along it all started to come together. It was so much fun working out the script. Unfortunately we couldn't use all the ideas otherwise it would have been a two hour move!  Thank you so much to Tom for all his help and advice.”
