On 11th June 2018, Skillnet Group changed its name to bemix.

A new website, new brand – and new name...
Our work, mission and values remain the same.

Last year people told us...

your support is excellent:

“You make me feel I’m going to work like the rest of my family.
You continued supporting us even when the programme ended.
Skillnet gives me confidence that I can do quite difficult things."

...people told us:

you have influence but could have much more impact

“Skillnet challenges perceptions.
You could do more to raise your profile.
Skillnet has a much-needed voice for people with learning difficulties”

so we’re focusing on two themes: excellence & influence

Our work won’t change direction. We’re digging even deeper so people with learning difficulties and autism gain skills, jobs and an equal place in society.

We’ll keep up the good work! We’re committed to growing in these areas.

To achieve excellence and influence, we need to reach people and be clear about what we do. We need to stand out and be more memorable.

So, we’ve changed the way we look. We have a new website, new branding – and a new name!

Anita, Angela, Susan and Amalia at Family Business Place

Graphic design

Colin at Family Business Place for our logo and stationery designs

Gemma at Bobble Graphics for our ongoing printed graphic design work

Simon at Raising IT for our website design

Photography

Jonny at Jonny Thompson Photography for capturing some beautiful and powerful images of us all in action

Filming

Simon and Martha at Paperboat Documentaries for producing the 'About bemix' film which captures what we do perfectly

Copywriting

Fliss and Emma at Moka Pot Copy for putting so much time into helping us get our words right on our flyers, emails and website (and for doing lots of that for free!)
