Are you a keen photographer? Do you have a good eye for capturing high impact, positive shots of people?

We are looking for a Photography Volunteer to take photos at our bemix Celebration on 1st October, and possibly at future events.

We are looking to recruit a photography volunteer to our relatively new communications team. The successful volunteer will photograph our bemix Celebration on 1st October from 2pm-5pm to produce a range of images to an agreed brief.  If we like the photographs, there will be more opportunities for photographing our groups and events.  We also hope to be in a position to pay for great photography in the future.

Volunteer role summary

Over the past year we have refreshed our branding and marketing materials. We have a new brand, new website and a new name - we changed our name from Skillnet Group to bemix on 11th June 2018. Now we have a really bold and professional platform from which to share the excellent work we do, and the achievements of people we work alongside.

Capturing this work through quality photography is an essential part of this work.  This will help us to make sure people with learning difficulties/autism are seen as valuable individuals, achievers and as positive contributors in society.  We want the wider community to know about what we are doing so we can change negative attitudes about learning disability and/or autism.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Photography student / graduate to develop their portfolio, particularly in the field of corporate and events photography.  It may also suit a Professional Photographer looking to use their skills and experience to benefit the community.
