Catering? Can you help people be seen, be heard and belong in the creative world? Would flexible, ad-hoc, local Support work suit you? Then we’d like to invite you to bring your creativity & join the bemix team! This is a flexible, non-exclusive hours role, to cover holiday and staff absences, within our creative Adult Group based projects. You’ll join a supportive, welcoming group and work on an ad-hoc basis. Pay is £10.90 / hour + Holiday Pay Accrual. The bemix creative groups run Monday to Friday at various sites across kent. We develop and run our groups as equals; people with and without learning difficulties and/or autism working together and sharing skills and experience to achieve equality and inclusion across society. Our projects aim to provide a stepping stone towards greater independence for people with learning difficulties and/or autism. By participating in the creative groups, people have the opportunity to develop a range of skills linked to the project, for example, music production and recording, digital media, performing arts, catering or woodwork. In addition, people using our groups build social skills, confidence and self-advocacy.
