I joined the bemix (formerly Skillnet Group) team in July 2017 as our Project Lead for Workforce Development. I’m on hand to organise and facilitate any Personnel, Recruitment and Induction plans and take on additional ad-hoc Projects that will benefit us all, for example sourcing office space for a new Administration Workspace Hub and arranging NVQ courses.

For the majority of my career, I have worked within the Private Commercial Health and Social Care field. For many years I was an integral part of a team, setting up and developing a Community Support and Nursing Agency. This encompassed a whole range of responsibilities, including being the Registered Manager for CQC standards, Advertising, Marketing and PR, Recruitment, Staff Development and Training, Personnel and Employment, Supervision and Appraisals, facilitating and overseeing Individual Support and Care Plans. Setting up this company was an amazing and rewarding phase of my life and meant no day was ever the same and led me to work with so many different and interesting people - I also learnt how to juggle an ever changing and often huge workload!

To be part of a Community Interest Company like bemix, which has such a focus on equality, making a difference and putting profit back into supporting the work we do, makes me feel very happy.

Some other bits and pieces about me: I have two life loving daughters age 2 and 6 and a lovely husband. I am a Registered Bach Flower Remedy Consultant, I love going to Yoga, being with friends and family and nice snacks!
